Accounts Payable Officer (Fixed Term)
The Hastings District Council is currently seeking applications for an Accounts Payable Officer to join the Finance Team. This is a fixed term full-time position for 6 months.
The main duties will involve processing, reconciliation and payment of invoices, and dealing with queries. This role will also provide accounting assistance within the Finance Team.

The successful applicant will have a minimum NCEA Level 3 University Entrance pass, over two years previous accounts payable experience, and a basic understanding of accounting principles. In this role the applicant will need to be accurate, have meticulous attention to detail, and have good time management. A pleasant manner and excellent communication skills to provide a high standard of customer service to external and internal customers is essential.
