Hastings District Council is seeking applications for an astute project and relationship manager to join our Economic Growth and Organisation Improvement Group, a group focused on improving organizational efficiency and effectiveness and facilitating economic growth. 

This hugely varied role residing in a small team of project management professionals is focused on providing high quality project, program and relationship management services over a broad spectrum of complex and challenging internal and external facing strategic projects, programs and initiatives. 

The primary focus of this role will be to manage and strengthen Council strategic relationships with Government to secure funding and investment opportunities into the District.  While you will also be expected to initiate, lead and manage multidisciplinary strategic projects and programmes that fulfil the objectives of the EGOI Group and HDC. 

The successful applicant will have a relevant professional qualifications in business, planning, urban development, organizational improvement or other related field with extensive project and/or program management experience with highly developed organizational and problem solving abilities and impeccable interpersonal and relationship building skills.
