Health and Safety Coordinator

Permanent Part Time

Hastings District Council has an exciting opportunity for you to join our Health and Safety Team and develop (or start) your career in Health and Safety.

We are seeking a Health and Safety Coordinator who will champion the cause and work to keep our staff safe here at Council. You may have some experience in Health and Safety or you may be looking for a career change.

To be successful you will need strong administration and customer service skills, a keen interest in Health & Safety and a proven record of achievement, drive and initiative. It would be desirable for you to hold a relevant qualification in Health & Safety and have experience promoting Health & Safety within workplaces.

We would like to have someone join our team who is passionate about Health & Safety and able to build and maintain effective working relationships. You will be rewarded with constant learning opportunities, working within a close knit and supportive team.

This position is a permanent part-time role for 30 hours per week.
