Taitara Mahi –Public Spaces Officer – Key Urban
We are looking for a full time Public Spaces Officer- Key Urban to join the Public Spaces & Buildings team within the Asset Management Group.
This role will assist and support the Public Spaces Operations Manager in the coordination of operations and maintenance activities in high profile public areas. The role is responsible for the daily auditing of the condition of key public areas and for the directing of service providers and contractors to ensure high levels of amenity are maintained on key routeways, town centres and premier parks.
The successful candidate will need to have:
A relevant qualifications and experience in open space operations and contract management.
Proven experience in garden beds and landscape elements in parks and open spaces
Contract management experience
Developed Computer skills and experience
The ability to communicate professionally, both in writing and verbally
Excellent customer service skills
A commitment to working alongside contractors and the community to provide quality outcomes
