Taitara Mahi –Senior Technical Infrastructure Administrator
We are looking for a Senior Technical Infrastructure Administrator who will be known for their quality and ability to deliver expert support and advice. This role is an integral part of our Information Management & Business Transformation Team.
This role will ensure the high availability of all IT infrastructure and hardware related services used by Council staff. This role has a number of key work areas which include IT Security, DR & Business Continuity, Maintenance and Upgrades, Advanced Systems Troubleshooting and Configuration. These key work areas ensure the ICT infrastructure is well maintained and supported.
The successful candidate will have:
Minimum of 7 years’ experience in the IT industry with practical networking, server & PC operations knowledge
A strong focus on service delivery with a desire to innovate, improve process, support others and share ideas
Technical experience with:
VMWare EXSi, vSphere, vCentre & Remote access solutions
Windows Server 2008 R2 – 2019, Windows 7 / 10
Office 365 administration - Exchange Online / Hybrid, Azure AD, Active Sync
DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, AD, RDP, PowerShell
Backup and anti-virus solutions
Server, Storage and Networking hardware
Basic SQL & web server technologies
Broad ICT knowledge and excellent problem-solving skills
Mobile Device Management
