Taitara Mahi –Waste Minimisation Officers
We are on the hunt for passionate two Waste Minimisation Officers who want to engage with the community to encourage waste minimisation and resource recovery. Recognised for your attention to detail, enthusiasm, passion and ability to deliver, you will be an integral part of our Solid Waste Team.
You will drive behaviour change and deliver waste minimisation education programmes across the district that will help achieve the vision, goals and objectives of the Joint Waste Management and Minimisation Plan and NZ Waste Strategy.
The successful candidate will have:
A tertiary qualification in communications, public relations, environmental management, or related field
Relevant experience in behaviour change and community education
Proven experience working on community engagement projects
Public speaking and presentation skills
